A7 + 35mm FE. Obviously not an ideal lens for our impromptu portrait session (distortion) but its an impressive lens none the less.

I used a monopod for these. I got some sharp images at 1/125 | 400mm but not reliably which is a gain of about 2.5 stops vs my handholding abilities.

Great shots with the 70-400, please ask your friends at Sony to consider producing a 70-400 FE with OSS. How is the focusing with this lens on the A7, can you hand hold it at 100mm?

So many great images! Great stuff everyone

Shots with the A7r and 50 Cron Rigid DR @ f/2.0 during the day. Great having the higher shutter speeds for brighter ambient lighting. Also re PP'd with Camera Neutral and different preset.

Here are some images taken last evening with my tripod mounted A7r and my Leica R 50mm f2 Summicron lens. Images taken just before sunset from the Environmental Center of the Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, PA. Images shot at f8 or f11 for DOF and processed in LR5.3.
