Yesterday I woke up to dense fog. When the sun burned off the fog I found all these spiderwebs beaded up with moisture catching the light. A7RII with FE 24-240mm

That tiny 28mm f/2 lens impressed me more than just a few times on this trip. I started to wonder whether and how the 25mm Batis, except being a little wider can compete with this pocketable lens. A comparison between the two may be in order .
A7ii with 28/2 FE. I am so hoping for more non-G/Zeiss badged offerings from Sony that can offer this winning combo of low price/small size/great optics. Almost seems silly to spend 2-3x more money for lenses that weight more and give fractionally better IQ like the Batis 25 I've got on order when this 28/2 FE just plain works and for a mere $449.
