Michiel - is this a permanent installation? I am going to be visiting Amsterdam in early October and would love to see the view from up top!
Sorry only till the 6th of september. It is quiet unique even for people from Amsterdam to have such a 360 degrees view over the city.

@Bob: Yes i do have AF with the 70-400, i am using the LA-EA 3 and you get PDAF as well as IBIS. This is way better than the A7R and LA-EA 4, i used quasi only MF.
With the R2 i can absolutly recommend this lens. Though a little big it is optically excellent and very versatile (from quasi macro to super tele).
AF is very fast and reliable almost on the level of native E-mount lenses.
Great work Bob and thanks for your kind words about the 'Ghosts' series....

Beautiful image! I would love to hear more about the mod on the lens hood! Where did you have it done? Any pics? Been thinking about doing this myself . . .
Bob, this was a home job, after consultation with an engineer friend, and much trepidation. The photos below show the sequence applied to my 21mm Ultron to which I gave the same treatment. In retrospect it was straightforward, despite the nerves, and while I'm waiting for the right stepping adapter, it looks the Benro 100 mm filter holder will provide full coverage even on the 15 mm, which is brilliant. Wrapped ready to go, cloth, card and masking tape over the front element, and a plastic bag over plastic wrap, all attached with tape just below the filter ring
Three off - marked the cut line with a fine triangular file, and then used a fine-toothed craft hacksaw
Ready for careful cleanup with a fine cut, flat file
Sanding on dampened wet & dry paper sitting on glass, starting with 180 grit, then 400, then 800
Both lenses painted with Tamya primer followed by craft semi-gloss enamel - should have blown off the dust!
I've really enjoyed the images on the past few pages.
This was taken in near dark with the Canon 11-24. F4 ISO 800 30sec. exposure. I wouldn't have been able to recover so much light with my 5D3 files. I'm really enjoying working with the Sony files in C1.
I'm eager to share some results after playing with a Canon 135mm f3.5 screw mount adapted to my a7II. Mind the haze. That's just how it was outside earlier this evening. Pretty impressive lens for short money - only my skills are holding me back.

Thanks guys
Regarding editing and I do not remember every step that I made on this flower images
But I use nik collection and LR5 and CS6
When I have time, maybe I could start a thread where I try to show the steps
I usually do... if there would be interest of it ?
However, I can sometimes find it difficult to express myself properly in English and write and spell correctly
it can get a little Swedish English .. but you might understand anyway
I've received a few PM regarding editing on the flowers
Some stuff I do and uses
I'm too lazy to use flash so all light is in the editing process
a few steps
ordinary adjustments in LR and sharpening and a few other things in CS6
When I edit my pictures I also use nik collection Color Efex pro ,Viveza , Analog efex pro
Color Efex pro: there I use the Darken / Lighten Center to illuminate the subject
that it would be taken with flash ..and sometimes uses I detail extractor also .
beyond that I use a macro-action that I made myself which works pretty well for some images
but not good for all images ..
I play with the tone curve and saturation, and Vibrance and a split toning to get the colors that I like ( most Yellow and blue )
Sometimes it is not the colors absolutely true to life .. but I will not pay much attention on it .. I go on my feeling and what I think looks good .. there are certainly many who don't like this look but it has become my style on flowershot
Great shot everyone ..this is a great thread which provides inspiration
You are a magician - please share your secrets! Swenglish is OK - we'll figure it out!! I'm Frenglish - so it will make us even!
BTW, I am also a fan of the NIK collection - pretty amazing what more it can achieve than Lightroom, with the simplicity of Lightroom. Personally, I came to prefer the approach to first "Edit in Photoshop" where the only work I do is to go through the various layers of Nik - very simple and efficient.
A few test shots with the 25mm F2 Batis on a7r. Camera was REALLY close to spider. F2. Second shot after the spider was scared by the giant camera in its face and ran for shelter.
