Winter Harbour, British Columbia, Canada on the Pacific coast. Just got back from a fishing trip to the far northwestern extreme of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Town claims 20 winter residents - nearly two hours of unpaved logging roads from nearest paved road. Lots of fish. A7RII with FE 24-240mm
Hiep...Congrats on the lens! Awesome image!
Michiel...Very nice.
Joshua...Loved the Port Barrels with the FE 28!
Jviegas...great Portugal set!
Bob...Superb images! Really nice!
Dale...Stunning images! I really like all of them!
Gregg
Everytime I see those images with the ZM I want that lens. I just returned my Loxia 35, I wasn't as happy with it as I was with the Loxia 50mm. I traded up to the 35 1.4 ZA, hopefully I can do some shots with it tomorrow.

Terrific images! I love Portugal. My wife and I spent a month driving around, tasting the food, falling in love with Portuguese wines, enjoying the people... I had the opportunity to purchase a glass of 150 year old port while we were visiting Porto. And yep, the bottle/case was under lock and key and they distributed it using a very long pipette with much pomp and circumstance. It was fabulous. Like drinking history.
Thank you very much! Yes, I enjoyed their wines a lot, too. Wow, some 150-year old port wine must have been very rare and pricey. No wonder they had to handle it that carefully, huh? The idea and experience of being able to enjoy that was simply awesome. Too bad, we spent only 4 days in Portugal.

Thanks, Gregg! I bet you would enjoy the content. I wouldn't mind tasting a sip myself .

Love your images of Capo Testa (correct me if I am wrong) Rene. Much better than the ones I took in June which were a bit of a disappointment given that the place seemed to offer some wonderful photographic opportunities. The visibility was nowhere near as good then, it was a bit hazy (that's my excuse to myself anyway) and Bonifacio was but a smudge on the horizon. Looking forward to seeing some more, even though they will upset me again!

Thank you for your comment Peter. Yes, it is Capo Testa. a fantastic piece of earth.
more of that
René
Besides. all their photographers. your photos here are wow!!!!!
Thank you Philippe
Stunning images just seem to keep flowing!!! Congrats to all
Joshua, wonderful set!
Night shots in Pontevedra streets.
The A7rII amazes me that you can shoot at night 6400 ISO, f/5.6 with AF on zone/AF-S with the Batis 25 with no issues. Coming from MF lenses and Leica M's, I never thought I would embrace AF.
Photo taken the evening of July 16, 2015, about 22 minutes before sunset looking at farmers fields, New Tripoli, PA. Image taken with my tripod mounted Leica R 180mm f3.4 Apo Telyt lens and my A7r, ISO 100, lens set to f16 for 1/10 second and processed in LR6.
Charles...Fabulous set. Incredible images. I feel like I'm right there wth you. And...I regularly go downtown and shoot @ISO 6400-12800
Rene...that 24-70/4 shines in your hands!! Very nice.

A7rM and ZM 35 1.4 Distagon
Your night shots are awesome, Charles! The frustration of my Batis 25 not arriving is mounting. I may just cancel and wait patiently for other offerings.
Great stuff too, René, and Dale, and Bob (that last shot!), and Gregg (that lens!)
Yes, that lens! Very tempting now that colour shift seems to have been eliminated by the R2. Tried my old Rokkor-M 40/2 CLE today and no trace of colour shift although the lens is not up to the sensor at the corners at any aperture really. Anyone know how the ZM 35/1.4 performs in the corners with the R2? Philippe peut-etre? philber wrote:

ebookman, first and last shots on prior page are great. The first because of its stark color palette and the last for nearly the opposite: vivid color.
Charles, really like the night shots of the church, particularly the yellow glow of the windows spilling into the scene.
A few shots from Croatia in and around Rovinj.
