Thanks, Bob, Charles, Joshua, your kind words are much appreciated!
Bob, tremendous set, with the last one my fave! Greeg, in the same vein, I love your bus!
Charles, your B&W is awesome. I could see capetan Alatriste spring right out of a novel by A Perez Reverte!
And the usual suspects, Helena, Jordan, Michiel, Werner...

Joshua...looking forward to more of your Spain images also!
How about from Portugal, for a change? We will go back to Spain later .
A visit to winery in Porto.... hence the name Port Wine. Just in case you wonder why the name, the family that owns/operates this winery immigrated from England some 200 years ago. Although there are similar tasting wines but the grapes have to be grown in nearby Duoro Valley can carry the name. Yes, I love it!
The lower right hand barrel contains the oldest port wine from 1850's and it is the very last barrel there is. The value of the barrel is estimated to be over a million US$! They still have a private stash of valuable wines behind lock!
The last image is the side of a church that was completely decorated with blue porcelain tiles depicting religious scene.

Cheers! (see my likely to be aborted "A7RII Image thread" for additional aurora panos)

Terrific images! I love Portugal. My wife and I spent a month driving around, tasting the food, falling in love with Portuguese wines, enjoying the people... I had the opportunity to purchase a glass of 150 year old port while we were visiting Porto. And yep, the bottle/case was under lock and key and they distributed it using a very long pipette with much pomp and circumstance. It was fabulous. Like drinking history.
Just for fun I took the A7II with Minolta MD 35-70 3.5 Macro to a football scrimmage at night under the lights. Both at 3.5 1/500 sec and iso 6400. Got this lens with a Minolta body for $10.00. Others here on the thread really get great images with it.

I'm so glad you post images of Portugal as well, lived there for almost 40 years before I came to Spain. Great shots BTW
Here's some of my shots made during my last visit to Aveiro, 57km south of Porto, with the A7II.

Hi Jose, thank you very much. We visited 4 places in Portuga; Porto, Lisbon, Fatima and Obidos. We enjoyed our stay in Portugal as much as we did in Spain. I have a few more I will be posting here.
