Fantastic pictures here as usual... the level is very high so it is difficult to choose which one are my favorites from my last post...
Only based on my taste:
Rich, "Moonlight over the Golden Gate" left me speechless
Charles, very nice set but the last one (statue on blue hour/background) is really pop 3D
Gregg, you are my reference in term of bokeh and I like very much the last one
Helena, nice set too and the first one has wonderful colors, plus very well balanced and natural
Bob, love the last one of the Ford pickup set... nice composition and bokeh
These are for the Philippe dinner... I hope it is not too late tonight
How a snail has lunch in three action shots...
Not only this thread moves at wrap speed but the number of great images is staggering . Kudos to everyone .
Here are a few images from Spain, actually from the city of Valencia in Spain to be exact. Except for the last images, there are from the interior of seemingly mundane facilities, such as a train station, post office, etc. The last one is from a cathedral there. Churches in Spain are known to be elaborate but still, the ceiling of this one is quite impressive.
I am not sure why the EXIF data is not showing on these. At any rate, I used FE 16-35mm for those shots, more at the wide end, somewhere between 16-20mm at f/5.6-7.1. The camera used was A7 II; A7r II would have been awesome for this trip. Oh, well.
Talking about Zeiss Batis.... Does any of you know how to get either one or both for me, please ? Thanks!
Photo taken at 6:17 PM on June 30, 2015, Mount Desert Island in Acadia National Park, Maine with my tripod mounted A7r and my Leica M 90mm f2.5 Summarit lens, ISO 800, lens set to about f16 for 1/13 second. Processed in LR6.
Having been on the forums for a few months and frequenting this thread daily, I thought it was about time I post something. Following was taken on my first outing with the A7 and the cheap SMC 50 1.4.
