Bob: The colors in those sunset shots are just amazing.
Philip: Beautiful flower shots. I wouldn't be able to focus a brick like the Otus wide open or close to wide open with any accuracy.
Samuli: Beautiful reflections.
Michiel: Wonderful lightning in the beach shot.
Werner: Beautiful scenery and great use of the lake as bokeh.
Jako: Excellent use of the Big Stopper.
pinholecamera: That pool shot with the sun stars is simply breath taking.
Here are my first shots with the a7rii (and the ZE 16-35). I noticed the hot pixels too and will probably try that re-set trick discussed in the other thread.
Photo taken at 10:19 AM on June 29,2015 of a wave breaking at Sand Beach, Mount Desert Island in Acadia National Park, Maine. It had rained and stormed the previous day and the surf was rough as the waves were crashing in and the beach was closed for the day. Image taken hand held with my A7r and my Leica R 180mm f3.4 Apo Telyt lens. ISO 100, lens set to f5.6 for 1/800 second and processed in LR6.
The second image uses the first to create an abstract using a twirling technique. The technique is not new but it is currently a fad here in Minneapolis so I thought I would post it just for fun.

Wow, that's some pop! Is that the CV 40mm f/1.4? IIRC it's a lens you use a lot. If so... grr! Whenever I convince myself that I really don't want or need it I see some of your work with it, hoping this is is some unobtainable lens.
Sorry for the delay! Only saw your quote now!
No, those 3 were in fact shot with a Jupiter9 85/2 in LTM mount. My CV40/1.4 was stolen and I am still waiting to get my hands on another one that I bought from a member here on FM. I will finally get in on Saturday.
The Jupiter9 is a great least nevertheless, although a lot bigger than the tiny CV40/1.4!
