I wanted to push my "new" Canon new FD 500mm f4.5 L lens and my Sony A7r and took this about 12 minutes before sunset near the top of the Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, PA. Image taken with my tripod mounted Canon new FD 500mm f4.5 L lens and my Sony A7r, ISO 800, lens set to f11 for 1/2000 second. Image was adjusted for exposure & heavily cropped and processed in LR6.

Speaking of Alcatraz, here's Patarei Vanglamuuseum in Tallinn, Estonia! It was originally a fortress, then a Soviet prison for several decades. I believe the last prisoners were there until 2000 or 2001.
This thread continues to amaze me Great shots everyone!!
I just received my Batis 25 this morning I now only have my A7s ... awaiting the A7rII.
The lens is relatively light and not obtrusive at all IMO.
First shot from the Batis 25 and A7s of my wife at the office.
Congrats on your new lens, Charles! (and the wife shot too :-) 'cuz portraits with a 25mm ain't easey-peasey:-) And that was a cracker of a shot, Jochen!
My first shots with A7RII, this time with ZM 35 f:1.4
