Since there are so many threads going on here regarding the A´s I will just double post ...
I uploaded 2 pictures taken with the Summilux 50mm Asph @ 1.4 @ ISO 2000 with the A7 + A7R.
Cant see too much difference in the files but maybe you see something more
I quite like what I'm seeing from the 50/2 planar ZM on the A7R

Are you sending PMs to everyone in this thread that's not posting photos? Ambitious. I've never seen a single thread here that only contained images. When I look at this thread I can only conclude that you have a lot of PMs to send out.

Well, I think that the color shift is not negligible but very prominent.
It appears that WA-rangefinder lenses will quite often not deliver on the A7 or A7r. And that's a real pity for these nice lenses. Obviously only special designed lenses for this camera's or DSLR-lenses will do. With the latter lenses you loose the advantage of size and weight.

I try to be polite in PMs requesting you keep the thread clean. Most have no problem. It's not MY thread, as 15,000 views show. Many are using it. 99% have no problem.
In snowboarder's case I asked him once and he ignored me. Oh well. what a waste of everyone's time. I apologize.

What you say is true for many - but not for all - WA-RF lenses. Did you really look at my examples? In my opinion, the WATE is still quite compact and so is the CV Ultron 21/1.8 ASPH that also shows only negligible color shift.

Judging from the light probably shot near wide open. Admittedly high ISO and not very good to judge the corners, but looks to me surprisingly good.

And he was quite right IMO. The rules on a public forum can't be made and enforced by just a single poster. There are general forum rules and as long as these are followed nothing is wrong.

Yes, I agree that it is not true for all WA RF lenses. In your last picture I see some color shift at the left side, but when looking more thoroughly that might be caused by the scene and not by the lens.
