Leica Tri Elmar 16-18-21mm f/4 (\"WATE\") @ 16mm @ f/8:

Out-of-camera JPEG (16mm f/8):

Same image developed from RAW with Adobe Camera Raw 8.3 RC1 and distortion profile (for Leica Tri Elmar 16mm) applied as well as vignette reduction:

100% crop (actual pixels) from center:

100% crop (actual pixels) from upper right edge:

Another shot at different weather&light conditions also 16mm f/8 with vignette reduction:

As you can see, the WATE produces sharp edges at f/8. Color shift is negligible and only distinguishable visible at 16mm in particular situations.

The result at 18mm and 21mm as well as for other aperture settings (f/4 and f/5.6) can be found in this album: http://www.flickr.com/photos/hhackbarth/sets/72157637887948156
It will be continously updated.
