wfrank, I've seen so many images from the 35/1.2 II that I like... not sure I can remember any where I didn't think it was performing. Looks like a very fun lens to have in the bag.
Thanks for posting the canon 50/1.2 LTM, I have been tempted to get one as I posted at MFlenses.
I think I'm going to hold off till I see how my collection works on my A7r.
I'm curious if my v2 Elmarit M 28 is as good as the V3, I believe they looked similar on my NEX-7, and my Elmarit M 24 Asph is very similar to my 28 as far as the color shift.

Looking at the v2, it may be great. the asph is not, and I have not tried my cron yet, but seen a few shots. Anyway the v2 looks nice and big, which is key I think. m-rokkor 28 also good.
also: shutter sounds exactly like old singer sewing machine . Louder than 5n, but it's livable.
camera boots fast contrary to reports. this may be because I have new ultra fast card.

The 28 Asph? Or the 24 Asph I have?

That's good to hear.
What I wonder, is shutter lag that noticeable vs the NEX-7?
I'll be picking up mine in a week....
