With the better AF performance/reliability of my D750 (coming from a D600), the 58mm 1.4G has now become my workhorse lens. Here's a photo from a recent portrait session:

Ahh I see it now..those lights were actually circular but since they were so close together, the bokeh merged them together to look like one long light.

Took my camera down to Austin for a family reunion of sorts and got the little man to pause for a second while running around like a mad man.
I've got to use the lens couple of times this weekend in really challenging light and I've got to say that this must be the most well-behaved lens I've ever used. Where other lenses would show all sorts of aberrations, this lens always shines. It makes an amazing pair with the D750!
