Froze my fingers tonight. I think this lens is becoming my favourite landscape lens. Last 2 times I have been out, I migrated towards finally taking photos with the 58mm.

Here is one I'm calling "Crystal Mountains" for obvious reasons. Froze my fingers really bad. Windchill was extreme but happy with the results of this miniature landscape caused by the ice pushing up onto the shoreline. Still a bit of editing to do on it...

I'm a canon wedding shooter currently in the process of switching to nikon. I'm right in the middle of building a kit, but I've got the 58 and the 28 on the way so far. This thread and others here in the Nikon group are really helping my decision making. So thanks for sharing!

Start using them outer points and you'll see why I hate the AF.
