Dump the 24/1.4 and your 35, get the 28/1.8G. It gives you a wide sense, but can easily replace the 35. The 28 makes a lot more sense when a normal 50-60mm prime is often used, 35 is too close in perspective.
I had the 28/1.8, but don't like the focal length; for me, it's either too wide or not wide enough. I'm a huge fan of the 35mm focal length so that lens isn't going anywhere.

Posting this here since you fine folks understand the virtues of this lens. I have Hassey GAS pretty bad, but to satisfy it, I would have to give up my 24/1.4 or the 58/1.4. I do have a 50/1.8G, but don't have anything wider than a 35mm if I give up the 24.
Opinions on what I should do, please. A third option is to stuff down the desire to try out a Hasselblad, but you gearheads understand how hard that would be
I have the 58 and pairing it with a 35 makes perfect sense really for portrait sessions. besides there's always the 20mm if u need wider after

I just got my 58mm today and was just shooting with it for the first time. wide open I am noticing a lot of green CA. Is this common with this lens?
Elijah, this is proof of how much you've posted in here; I....I...think I've switched to the filmish look I'm so sick and tired of fiddling with pictures in LR, so I figured I'd do something completely different for me (film look) and not touch it...just bring it in, run the defaults and be done.
Here's a before/after. I value the opinion of most of you in here, hence the off the wall post. Plus, it's the 58

Top old, bottom new
I’ll be honest; I actually thought you don’t even edit your photos. Most of the images you’ve posted here seem like they’re SOOC.
I like the edit, but... Focus on the skin tones.
I use the fuji 400h VSCO preset and I modify it, almost all the time. I hate the gran, so I bring down the slider almost all the way down. I play around with the tone curve as well as the green primary slider in the camera calibration section.
I did not learn this from anyone, I just found this trick on my own. Keep it simple and keep the skin tones filmy
And I swear, the shot below was mean to be shot at 1.4 I gotta admit, my finger tends to slip the aperture dial

I could say all of yours look unedited because they all have the exact same look. It's just whatever recipe each of us whips up, ya know what I mean? I do bare ass editing, usually WB, tweak contrast a tiny bit, and sometimes throw on a radial filter to make people pop. That's not to say I didn't work for hours on end cooking up a good "default" recipe in LR. I'm just tired of chasing it.
This new recipe is something like Kodak Portra 400 settings, but with a fuji color profile driving it.

I'm a sucker for color. I like both version you posted that pop with color a bit more. Not to say the more muted film look is bad, but I more often than not choose the more contrasty saturated look over the muted color look. Both are great and it just boils down to personal preference.
That said, I have tried VSCO.. Their new version looks good, but the others I have always been dissapointed.
I'm also not too concerned with skin tones. I'd rather sacrifice some skin tones for some wow factor when you first view an image... Did I mention I vignette the **IT out of my images .
