The 58G can be my “normal” lens, in the ~50mm role, or, serve in the short telephoto role, for people and pets. The 58G is the F-mount lens than ensures I will take the Z-mount route, when I decide to step into “mirrorlessness.” (Actually, I added the Leica M system, in 2018, so, technically, have already taken the step to “mirror-less” cameras, so, in the context of this discussion, I am meaning cameras systems with AF.)
