I'm honestly really on the fence with the 58 still....
Two below are with 58 and 135. The shot with the 58 is just bleh

This lens is still so glued to my camera that I'm honestly debating even taking it off for our waterfall hike tomorrow. Going to Rickett's Glen again (20+ named falls, gorgeous foliage right now). I'm torn between d4 + 58 and just enjoying the hike, or dragging the tripod/backpack/16-35/etc. along.
And I thought someone had a "meh" situation earlier...
I wound up shooting almost exclusively with the 58.
Funny story: We were taking a rest (it is a brutal trail) and a family approached and asked if we wanted a picture. The mother said "oh, our daughter is the photographer, she'll do it". Well she had a little Nikon P&S, I had my camera set to go and handed it off. About 10 frames later she asked if I wanted her to zoom out to get the falls more. I didn't even bother explaining that it's a prime. Once they walked away, I turned to my wife and said "I'm so putting this in continuous high for the next person"
The best part? In one of the pictures the girl took, my expression is priceless. It's the face of realizing a 13 year old girl has $8k of gear in her hand and has no idea
Fortunately an older gent with a D800 took a portrait of us that turned out beautiful.

I like them all Iluxa, except the train track shot - I can't stand shots of women posing on train tracks - one of the top ten dont's in photography.

Thanks guys! This lens has become my favorite prime I ever owned. My 50G and 85G are now sold.
