Did anyone get that front plastic ring fixed or replaced on 58G?
I have this lens and its amazing, but front plastic ring is damaged by front cap and was wondering how much would it cost to get it fixed by Nikon authorised repair center.
Bummer,
All my other glass seem to work okay.
Vignettes, yes, but you can crop, or accept.
I now see this on other sites, and reviews, about Nikon glass on GFX.
Nevertheless, thank you for the reply and this information, as the Fringer adapter I was looking at is $500.00

Nikon glass doesn’t adapt particularly well to GFX. You’ll notice a pretty sizable worsening of IQ.

I tested many F lenses under 85mm on GFX and none of them were worth adapting in the end. It was a bummer for sure.
