Totally agree with Riccardo. Awesome images.

Do you use extension tubes ? I know 58 can produce amazing blur, but those melting background of yours are something else, I feel.

I don't think you can get that level of blur with extension tubes alone.

I think the photograph is the canvas that turns into an amazing image. I enjoy what micke.vmix creates.

Yes, it's a combination of software and shooting at very close distance to get this look.
I rarely use tubes nowadays.
This lens usually goes on the D500 to get the narrower field of view, and the resolution is more then enough since I'm using it at the soft end.

This lens is a proper gem!!
