The more I shoot with this 58mm, the more I really like it and miss my Canon 50L f1.2 less.
Bless the AF fine tune function on the D850 - my copy is tack sharp now on both my bodies at f1.4, something that I could never say for my Canon 50L
The 50L was one of my all time favorites Superb lens but I had a very difficult time nailing the focus. It worked OK on the A7rII adapted but very slow.
Uggg.... great photos everyone. My 58mm is still in the shop waiting for parts. Could be a while yet before it is back in my hands. Was able to score a 28mm f1.4D to play with in the meantime though

That lens, too, is great. It will keep you busy in a good way!
I recently was able to pick up a solid copy of this lens here on the B&S boards. Couldn't be happier. There is definitely some magic fairy dust sprinkled in this thing! Incredible rendering and barely any post processing needs to be done. Portrait season for me will pick up very soon, but for now, just a few images from my series, A Path in the Woods.
