I don't normally shoot at 1.4 at this distance but as you can see, I barely had any light there, hence the 4k ISO...
Great photo Elijah! Love that the D3s is able to shoot such high iso like that. I really wanted to pick one up for an upcoming wedding.... might still have to.
Been a long long time since I've posted, been still happily snapping away though.
Funny story - I was in Whistler a couple of weeks ago, and accidentally dropped my beloved 58mm on the grass from about hip height. My heart sank fearing that I was due for some repair work...
Funnily enough, whatever that drop did -- the lens is a TON sharper. I had to remove my previous fine tune settings, but it is razor sharp now. Go figure. See photo below
lol Ash I'll have to try that. I just received mine and I think it's in need of calibration and it looks like focus was off. Will be calibrating next week sometime.

Thanks man! D3s is da bomb!! STILL king of ISO, you can argue with me on that one... I've had them all, nothing beats the D3s.
Ok that's a lie but seriously, the DF was the closest... Even D4s was crap, which shocked me.
