My next shoot I'm gonna mess with some 3-8 shot Brenizer method photos with the 58 to try and really push the MF feel. We'll see how it goes.
Won't work, from personal experience. I've tried it. The biggest problem is the bokeh shape; it goes all over the place. Here's an example I did last year:
Little girl has been very anti-camera lately hence my lack of photos lately, plus, with #2 coming any day now and a new project truck I've been busy as hell doing everything I can around the house and with the little one before it's newborn time.
Thanks! Yeah, believe it or not, this was a wide open shot too. I guess directional window lighting (for more contrast) in conjunction with live view manual focusing can make all the difference with this lens. And a really really red blanket, lol.
5. gave the wife the camera. always try to get at least one of me and the boy. tad blurry it was pretty dark here and wifes hand holding skills just aren't there yet
