Despite my avatar of me downing a bottle of wine, I so rarely drink that most people think I'm weird. I drink any fluid like a fish so me and booze don't mix. I drink about two gallons of water a day.
the other guy who did the panning, well those are spectacular.. they are SO good in fact it almost looks mechanical lol. the blur is perfect with no variation in motion as if you were on a panning swivel tripod head.
if you pulled that off handheld as a first timer then kudos to you!

sorry i missed this one but this is great!. you hit the sweet spot and got super sharp int he center and love the processing here. Shes very natural feeling and the tidbits in her hair add to the "child" element. not a care in the world.
was looking for something different to photograph with the 58 the other day. this bunch of daffodils caught my eye, the light was pretty nice.
I was about 2 feet away so near MFD and stopped down to 1.8. 1.4 just had too much of an ethereal feel to it and I lost all detail in the back ground which I wanted to retain some so it wasnt just a wash of cool green color.
Borrowed the bike... Gah, great shots everyone!!
