I put in an order for an A7R, I wish I didn't have to wait till December to get it.
I'm mainly interested in how the Elmarit M 24 Asph performs on it, please post links to samples if you come across any, thanks.
sebboh, your G28 looks awesome on it, hope it works well.
Brian was also saying that Touit 32mm can give 24MP image on A7R eg more then apsc equivalent of 15.5MP. Maybe they are not fully cleared. Lenstip was reporting +2 vignetting w/ 12mm wide open which is similar to CV12mm...

The other thing to remember is that the Touit 12mm is completely clean on APS-C, meaning that, on an equivalent FF sensor, 18mm should have the potential of being trouble-free. Because the A7r is quite a bit newer, I expect that we can get something really clean down to maybe 15mm if Zeiss decide to make something that wide.
Lenstip test was on Fuji apsc and CV12mm was tested on nex-5 by Photozone...

Lenstip is saying that the Touit 12, when used full-frame, works with 2-stop vignetting? That would be rather wonderful, but surprising.
"1. Tragically, we only had a few hours with the cameras and weren't able to test out any ultrawides. I did drop on a Leica 28mm F2.8 ASPH, and there was no noticeable vignetting or corner softness. I'll test this much more when I get a production camera and RAW converter."

I see lots of tests with the A7R , but what about the A7 ?
I really dont need the 36MP so i am interested in seeing if the 35/50 M lenses work well with A7.
I wonder how it'll play with the Oly's (18/3.5) ... given their propensity for vignetting, curious to see how the "offset" sensor will make a diff or not. Granted the Oly's aren't true RF glass ... but they are rather small.

not till i get the actual camera, i'm to lazy to take a picture of it and i don't have any good ones to paste on already.
No, the question was more about which way you're planning to go, since you pasted the 28 on a 7 and not a 7r. I can imagine what the lens looks like on the camera, I want to see the results of the G45 with the 7r. That combination (aside from being a moire machine) has the potential to be eye-popping.

Matt, the CV 15 is quite problematic on the M9 so I wouldn't have too much hope.
From what I've seen from the 35/2.8 and 55/1.8 so far, they seem to easily outperform the ZM 50/2 and both biogons 35. Most importantly, the bokeh seems outstanding and very much in line with the sonnar on the RX1. Also the resolution seems to be excellent across the frame. I am quite sure I will get these two, and only use the ZM 25/2.8 and 85/2 on the 7r.
If the ZM 25 checks out on the A7r, that sounds like a great plan for a lens lineup.

The ZM Biogon 35/2.8 looks superior by the MTF's (better at 5.6 than the FE at F8) to this new FE 35 2.8 so that might be one caveat, particularly given the ZM MTF's are real and not theoretical. The Bokeh is another question though and very likely superior on the FE 35. We can also almost guarantee the Sonnar FE 35 will not come close to the distortion of the Biogon (which is practically distortion free).
