Hong Kong just got the 1st shipment, lot of user test photos the web.
My finding is that the luminance noise pattern from iso 640 and up is not as nice as Canon's, especially in the OOF area. However I don't think it is an issue for normal use.

Great post Tororo!!
Are those jpgs ooc or converted raws?
Looking forward to more samples.
Thanks!
RAW converted with Lightroom 5.3 RC. No retouch, just a tiny bit of white balance correction. No sharpness added. As expected, this lens performs better than when it was used with 5D Mark II.

Great to see a post with the Zeiss ZE 50/2 MP. I have that lens and the ZE 35/2 and use them on the 5D Mark 2. Wondering about how the results with these two ZE lenses will compare with the new native Alpha Zeiss 35/2.8 and 55 1.8......anyone have any thoughts? I have both on order, and figure autofocus and smaller size (on the 35) would be nice, but not sure of the impact of 7 versus 9 blades (on the 35) on bokeh nor have I seen any mtf comparisons of these lenses. Thx for any thoughts or info.

The images I've seen from the FE 55 f/1.8 show it to be tack sharp corner to corner. Looks a fantastic performer. f/1.4 would have been nice though.

Can you use the share function on flickr so we can see the original posting and also maintain the copyright info. Hard to get much from pics that have no context and no link to the original.
