For those using A7/A7R with Canon lenses, I've just release a tool to rename lenses in your xmp files with right Canon lenses, avoiding mixing stuff in LightRoom (for example).
Nicolas,
I gave Lens Changer a try today but it crashes every time it starts to scan one of my folders.
I followed your instructions (step 1, 2 and 3) but it does not pass the scanning phase.
Mac OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)
Lens Changer v2.2

Hi Fred
I have a few peoples (5 over more than 600 downloads) that has this bug, yes. I did check for it and can't reproduce it at all on my Mac. I'm not a Mac expert at all, will try to find what could cause this anyway.

Fred, is this folder particular in any way ? Password protected access, non administrator account, symlink, etc ?
You certainly know Mac better than me, if you any idea about what could cause problem for an application trying to read files in your folder, let me know.

A new 'app' direct from Sony; now in beta, lets you trigger the shutter by waving your hand in front of the eyepiece's eye sensor, for no-hands triggering, the link is below, it has a bulb feature for the a7s and a7II, and compatibility with other Sony cameras, the a7 isn't mentioned tho...
I just wish Sony would add touch screens to their 'a' series, but this is a nice add-on, might help me a ton when taking images on a support; anyone for that matter, less shake is a good thing
If I did grab an a7II, what adapters do you all recommend for Canon glass, FD and EF, and do the adaptors still require 'flocking' to reduce reflections?

Jerry,
Metabones Mark IV is the current version for Canon EF to Sony E. It works only in the single shot AF mode and the speed, well, it is still slooooow but the inside baffle has a better non-reflective coating. They claim that the throat opening of the Mark IV to be larger than that of the previous version to accommodate TS-E lenses better. The retail price is $399 (ouch ) but since it is readily available and they face competition from other Chinese competitors with more aggressive pricing, they can be bought for less now. T
he FD to Sony E adapters do not have any electrical nor any AF contacts. They are quite a bit less expensive. Metabones adapters cost around $90 or so and generic brands sell for even less. Hope this helps.
