We have some milkweed in our front lawn and so I got some shots of this guy--it is a milkweed beetle. I saw a monarch butterfly around as well, but not when I had my camera. Hopefully I will catch it as well.

Congratulation! Werner, I look forward to see more images from you.
Thx's, my friend !
Leica S has to go (at least some lenses)......i am a bit sad, but the Fuji is just incredible. I could not withstand the Fuji offering, the S3 was not my choice if you consider the price tag....and the technology.
I am very busy right now, so it will take some time before i can go shooting my kind of stuff.. right now just some first tests etc..

I fully understand. For many things, FUJI is just plain better and we can all breath the technology FUJI brought to MF table. I am waiting for S3 myself to see how it goes from here. Pixel count is not high priority for me. Sensor quality is also not for 95% of shooting. I would love to see they refine the operating further and improve color and AF etc....
I personally think Leica messed up the a almost perfect system that they have slept on S for so long, having said that, Leica S is still my choice of MF as for today. (It just suit my need and situation better) For OVF shooting, I can't ask for more.
Great shots, Michael !! That Cron is fantastic.
Oh , yes i am crying about the S (i wont sell the camera, it's still the CCD King 006 - but will sell3 of my 5 lenses)! I was really interested about the S3.I am sure it will be very, very good. But the price
Keep on posting your fantastic shots
