and few (My kids) by 70 Summarit WO. Again it has house rendering from M 50lux and 75Cron. But it seems to me has less tension during editing, something to do with larger format? or slower speed? any way I love both lenses so far. Color are amazing and fidelity. CA only shows up at very extreme case for both.
View at this size don't do S justice. I will avoid load this thread with family pictures (even though I never feel any less pleasure to view high quality family images from any members) but you got the idea what will you expect if you are a pro to shooting model with good skill
Michael, I agree, there's definitely a Leica family consistency. The 70 looks like the 50 Lux ASPH with the outer 1/3 of the image cropped away (though with perhaps slightly less Gaussian blur), where the Lux's background rendering starts to decay and look more nervous, perhaps due to physical vignetting, falloff, field curvature, etc. I think we're both fans of the 28 Cron, but definitely, the 35 is smoother. Are you manually focusing most of these?
Has anyone done a Pentax 25 vs. Leica 24 shootout?

Yeh, I agree with your observation fully. I believer only 2nd one is from Manual focus. With AF available, I become Lazy As I said AF can be handy but compare to D810, it feel so slow and keep hunting. The camera is shining for something but don't build up your expectation so high if you want work fast
TBH, I am disappointed to see the size and distortion of 24. MTF is good but also not that impressive to me.

It was strange decision by Leica to use 3×2 frame ratio, just my $0.02
Not strange at all consider that they want body as small as possible to be able to take outside. 3:2 instead of 4:3 will make mirror box depth shallower. The camera is almost at about 35mm R9 size.
As for which is preferred ratio, it depend on scene I guess though I have no experience with other MF digital camera.
