August in Sweden. The weather was exceptionally rubbish, though I enjoyed reasonable temperature in comparison with Japanese 40 degrees centigrade and 90% humidity at that time...
Was originally going for a series for an auto-commissioned editorial, but weather was far too inconsistent, so just posting a shot as me and model were waiting for our boat at Waxholm.
Pardon the big sizes and the number of photos, it's just that I hate small photos from large cameras
Here are a few frames from last night, near my hometown Reykjavík in Iceland. Taken with a newly acquired Pentax 645Z and the FA 35/3.5 lens. Most were shot at f/5.6 for added DOF, ISO1600 and time ranging from 10-30 seconds. Considerable pushing was done in post in order to balance the brightness, as there was no moon light or snow to provide fill light to the scenery. Thankfully the camera has almost 15 stops of dynamic range so pushing was not a problem. I tried to adjust the photos to look the most natural to me, how they felt in real life without exaggerating too much.
