^^^thank you Sir ^^^
I was expecting something dramatic that sunset but weather didn't cooperate I shouldn't have my time wasted last day driving back in the dark. I prefer sunrise version than this one. However Flickr is down and won't let me upload pic.
^Evolution tower, built by Renaissance construction...seemingly the only general contractor in Moscow besides Strabag that can get things built on time, and as designed. I watched that thing go up while working on and off in Nabarezhnaya tower.
Maybe it's because Renaissance is Turkish and not Russian...
...and Strabag is Viennese.
I've enjoyed discovering this thread and now the hazard I feared has happened - I have a P645D on the way.
I say hazard because I already own a Leica M9 and a Sony A7R, so I request some user-feedback to hopefully reassure me that I'm still going to be gratified with the IQ from my P645D in the face of the A7R.
Background: I know that the 645D is CDD and I prefer the CCD look of my M9 over the CMOS A7R except of course in areas such as highlight control, dynamic range and higher ISO shooting.
I hope to have the 645D body in a couple of weeks and then I will contribute images to this thread. I already have a P645N, FA 45-85, and old MF 45/2.8, 75/2.8 and 200/4 lenses.

What a cool looking building. Very weird. Chicago was supposed to have a drill bit type building, much taller than this one in Moscow. They even started work on it but the developer declared bankruptcy and all that is left is a giant hole in the ground.
Kolor-Pikker, not anytime soon I can see myself upgrade. It is pretty luxury to have what I have now. The system($ for S007) can't be really justified for its limitation and my usage from it. I love its output (S2) most of time than any other systems I owned, but it has lots of limitation such as size, shutter delay, dust on sensor, mirror impact, DR compare to latest body, no LV, center only AF etc....
David, congratulation for your 645D. You will enjoy it. I don't want involve war between CCD and CMOS, I think the look not just from sensor type but filter pack in front of it. Either sensor can put wonderful color. but Leica S is the best (I should say most pleasing color machine I ever used.)
Proof the camera with color checker does nothing to save the color to me. There is no way I can get the same pleasing color consistently with DF as D700 does for portrait. Just impossible.
A lovely moment when we were walking around the Valley last day.
Nice image. Believe me, the size and the weight of the Leica S2 and the Summarit 35mm lens is a far cry from the weight that many of us carried in the past. Consider the weight of my Linhof Technikardan 45S 4" X 5" camera, a battery of LF lenses, and all of the pre-loaded sheet film, film holder, spot meter, etc.
