Still hunting in my garden. Hope you don't mind the repetitive subjects.
Weather still either far too hot or raining. Can't wait for October
As always your nits, crits and suggestions are most appreciated. Many of you have helped me on this road to becoming a better photographer. Still have a long way to go, but really enjoying the journey, so thank you.
I am truly most happy with my camera in hand enjoying the wonderful joy of discovering what nature has to offer whether it be my garden or something a bit more exciting
Thank you for stopping in , looking and commenting. It is appreciated.

Oh that shot of the beach is gorgeous! Love your hummers too. You get such great detail and colors! The close-ups are very nice too, especially the snail.

Nice shots as usual Birdie, eye catching first shot of the hummer, but it's always nice to see one perched too...With shots like that it's hard not to want to go back to the ocean, I've pretty much always lived near an ocean, and it'd be hard imaging for me not to be.

Top notch set Birdie. The hummers are wonderful. Butterfly is superb. Snail shot is a treat. Glad you shot the glad. Great depth of field on that one, yet you still have a nice blurred bg. Processing or out of the camera? Very enjoyable set.

Wonderful set Roberta. You have mastered the art of photography though there is always room to improve. This is a super set and the only nit I can see is that the very nice butterfly photo could use a tiny bit more DOF for complete sharpness. This might have messed up the nice background so it may have been the best choice. This is a stunning set!

Fine job on these, Birdie. These all show beautiful colors and detail and the subjects are well isolated against a smooth bg.
I like the Gladiolus shot, but I feel it is framed too tight for my taste.
Lovely colors in the Sunrise at Dauphin Island. The clouds are really adding to the image. Straightening the horizon will make the shot almost perfect

Thank you Scott ! They are easier to shoot when they are perched While we may be surrounded by water here, none of it is beach or ocean. I have lately grown to love the sounds , sights and wildlife around the beaches. Of course I prefer it when it is not hot and the people are gone
Wonderful set Roberta!
Thank you so much Greg. Glad you like them.
Birdie, I can always count on you for very colorful photos and wonderful comps.

Thank you Tim ! If I get too heavy handed with the colors , please do let me know .

Each and every one is stunner Birdie, wow what a set!!! I was going to pick the snail as my favorite because of how well you saw this. Then I got to the glads and was ready for a final 2 as my picks, then I got to the final shot! You have my head spinning Superb work Birdie, a pure joy to behold.
