Yep, still going with "that's just sad". And if I were the "her" in the "his and her" gift set mentioned in this thread, I'd be pissed I didn't at least get an X2.
There are two strange things about the picture.
1. The lens front tells its a zoom to 46mm while on top of the lens it says 70.
2. The text at the front is in the wrong direction. All leica lenses have the letters inward. This picture shows them outward.

Yes, good observation Robert. I'm also wondering where the aperture ring is? (X series also doesn't seem to have this, so might not be that suspicious) Still holding out hope the lens is actually interchangeable.... But the lens release button should be where it is on the M, one would think...

All of Leica's lenses and cameras have Made in Germany written in English. Looking at a lens just now, it even says 'Lens' in English... And it appears some state 'Lens Made in Germany' (28 Cron, 50 Lux ASPH) while others are only 'Made in Germany' (21 Lux, 21 SEM, 90 Summarit), so there is some inconsistency...

'Posted in rumors'. Looks to be a quite poor fake image, I have never seen lens engraved text that cannot be read right way up when looking at the lens from the front, no matter what the rotation. The f6.4 70mm setting is fun though for bokeh fans, lol. Lucky for Leica!
F6.4 would be a pretty damn arbitrary aperture to come up with for a fake I guess. The lens engraving direction, lack of serial number and inconsistency with the zoom range numbers all look very suspicious though.

I think the image is real. Several of the Leica C series cameras had lettering like this:
The Digilux 2 was also this way, and it had the 35mm equiv markings on it instead of the actual focal lengths. The Mini-M photo kind of reminds me of the Digilux 2, but the lens is slower and there's no aperture ring or VF. At least the sensor promises to be bigger.
Oh yeah, forgot about the Digilux lettering. I believe the Digilux 2 lens also had actual focal lengths on the lens front, and equivalent focal lengths on the zoom ring, just like this rumored camera, no?
But the lens release button should be where it is on the M, one would think...
