p.11 #4 · Sad news - 'Yakim Peled' a dear FM member has died
There are never the words to describe events such as these: It is terrible when problems in life get so much on top of someone. I hope that his family can move on from what is a terrible tragedy for them. They have my condolences.
I'm not sure about donating to his family, but i think some flowers from the FM community would be very appropriate. If someone could arrange this.

This number (according to 'd-spot', the Israeli Photography Forum in which Yakim was a very active member), isn't his wife's but rather a family friend Judith who broke the news about Yakim's passing.

Don't know him in person, but always recognize his posts everywhere when seeing one ending with "Happy Shooting, Yakim". His posts always had contribution to the topic.

Certainly one of the nicest fellow (based on his posting nature) on this forum! Why.... why? I will miss his thoughts on photography and Canon related stuff.

On January/February 2013 Yakim offered all of his photo equipment for sale, including his beloved 7D ... I knew that the 7D was one of his preferred cameras. Sad.

Wow, this is so shocking! Last I 'conversed' with Yakim was in his Amsterdam recommendations thread. He really seemed to be looking forward to the trip. Reading through it again, there are hints he was experiencing some financial difficulties...
