p.10 #1 · Sad news - 'Yakim Peled' a dear FM member has died
Sorry to hear this. I had quite a few good discussions with Yakima here on FM. He was an enjoyable guy to talk with. If the family is in need I would be happy to contribute through a PayPal fund.

More often then not, when forum searching for advice on a lens or canon body Yakim's posts would help steer me in the right direction. He never knew this. I wish I had told him.

p.10 #12 · Sad news - 'Yakim Peled' a dear FM member has died
I don't even have words... I'm just completely stunned and I was not expecting to ever read something like this. Yakim was always, ALWAYS so positive and I loved that he always signed off every post with his trademark "Happy Shooting". I'm deeply saddened by this news and I will keep his family in my prayers.
Be at peace Yakim.
Edit: I really respect you guys for wanting to setup a fund for his family. I will absolutely contribute to this if we get it going. I'm not sure how to set one up or I'd do it myself.

Yakim will be missed. Very very much. I don't know what else to say other than I hope his family, friends, and the FM community (and other boards) find peace with his passing.

Yakim was a great guy who always had a helpful comment.
I've been unemployed for nearly 11 months now and I know there are definitely good days and bad days that come with searching for a new job. Thankfully I've had more good days than bad and I'm sorry Yakim acted as he did on one of the bad days. I know the emotional toll that is taken when you don't get a job you know you're qualified for. You definitely feel like you're letting your family down and you really question yourself.
I know he's in a better place and that weight has been lifted off his shoulders, I just wish he could've hung on longer to ride out this storm.
I'll miss his comments and I wish his family strength in dealing with their loss.
