Ralph, I have a shot panned further left....ended up liking this one better (talking about the second shot.) I couldn't move over any further without getting in the water (was deeper than my boots were tall.) Thanks for the constructive feedback, which I don't mind.
I don't shoot much in the winter.....and I saw this thread thinking I'd post these couple of shots here. "Some waterfall shots"....was how I opened. I wasn't presenting this as the second coming of Ansel Adams. Just wasn't expecting the full frontal assault by Tim.
In any case, I'm not sure I understand the last sentence..but if I've offended anyone, it was not intended.

Sorry that my english is so bad. My last sentence wanted (me) to say I would shoot and post it.
Imo if you offended someone he/she should have a look into the mirror and ask what about she/he is offended by him-/herself.
Well I don't normally post my shots because they aren't even close to all of your work! But winter's in Montana are too much for me to resist. So here are a few. Shot with my new 6D and usually either my 16-35 F/2.8 or my 70-200 F/2.8 IS II

Hi 15bit, sorry i could not get any "enjoyment from this picture". I don't know why its hard to explain. I couldn't make out its if its a fuzzy/blurry picture?
Please advise or correct me what i am "missing" from this picture.
I hope i don't offend you when i ask you this.
Rgds,
T.
I'm sure you are not alone. It is just a picture though, and i make no claims to it being a work of art. If you like it thats great, if not thats ok too.
This being a sharing and participation thread you are more than welcome to post up some of your own images for us to enjoy.
Jim Harris, that frosty trunk/boot/deck lid looks like a sheet of plastic, but for the brake light. Interesting, especially for So Cal!
I'm enjoying all of the contributions, even when I don't manage to comment on each one. Keep 'em coming until the equinox, and don't forget to tell what gear you've used, or any particular Canon feature that was of notable help...or hindrance.
Here's one for Edd, because -
He caught the snow piled up against the northeast side of the trees.
Wouldn't this tree make a great snow catcher? If only some snow actually fell here?
From a walk in the woods at dusk today.
