A bit more winter from this part of the world. Hopefully more image posts soon, but i'm recovering from surgery at the weekend to sort my back again, so it's slow going here with respect to image editing. An emergency surgery rather than scheduled admission this time around, with a day of morphine to enjoy too.

Good to hear you have had the surgery, even though emergency doesn't sound very good. Anyway, hopefully the surgery has positive effect on your back after all. Anyway I wish you all best, god bedring, and hopefully lots of EOSfun asap again

Many thanks eosfun. I'll confess the "emergency" aspect of it lacked any form of "fun", with even morphine proving a disappointment Things are for sure a lot better than before, though i'm not yet convinced it was 100% successful. Time will tell i guess.

We did the (rather small) climb from the Kleine Matterhorn cable car (3820m) to the summit of Breithorn at 4164m. Not too difficult...
Zermatt, Switzerland.
Another one from the same week, we did a lot of climbing....

Very impressive to be able to do that, and really great images...thank you for sharing!
Not only is the snow bypassing us, those demented winter flowers that budded a while ago have now fully opened.
Going for this shot made me wish for an articulated LCD, but I managed to get what I wanted by using my "previsualization" skills and trying a few frames until everything lined up.
I even blogged about it.
Oh, we suffering artists, deprived of snow...
Talk about the "everything is in focus when shooting WA/FE anyways" notion. Great shot Photon! That's not to say anything posted above is any worse, 'fkorz. But... I'm feeling like a stuck record. Honored to be here on this board with you people.
Well, I no sooner complain that we're not getting any snow than we get a surprise of a morning sprinkle. Maybe I should complain more often. It has now changed to rain, though, but there may be more snow after nightfall, so maybe tomorrow morning...?
Anyway, I caught this robin eating with his snow boots on.
