Is that "6D" i see in the EXIF data Fred? You traded-in the 5D3?
I got the 6D to have it as a backup to my 5D3...but after comparing the shadow area at base ISO, the 5D3 is no longer my main landscape body. It worked quite well with my TS-E lenses. Here is a 3-image composite using the 24 TS-E. Effective focal length is 18mm at around 40MP.

R u going to write a field review for the 6D soon?
I prefer your shot here to the one you posted earlier. Beautiful.
Nice use of shift/stitch panorama! I wonder if this image would be even more powerful in monochrome, or perhaps even a duotone. (We've been allowed to devote a gear forum thread mostly to images, so why not slip in a hint of critique too? )
I will also be interested in a comparative field review (6D - 5DIII) if/when you have a chance to do one.

Thats my thoughts too. Back on the 5d2 now as the 6d is returned. But if I was buying a new landscape body it would be the 6d.
I was feeling a bit "retro" yesterday, so out came the gear for Analog to Digital conversion...
The river-race was shot with my T90, using FDn 80-200mm f4 L, on Tri-X. The scan was done with the Canon CanoScan FS7210, using VueScan, then into CS6.

Very nice Jim...I enjoyed that lens until my youngest son really-really wanted it
Jools: Hope you are feeling better (the back...), and yes it was a fun event for those of us that managed to stay dry and warm. I was in the water (dry suit) among the larger rocks for "crash" protection, and played rescue for one poor soul. It all turned out well, except for his shiny canoe...
Winter is almost over here. Today temperature was above zero and the snow turned into water. A few landscapes and winter structure shots from a one hour walk around my village this afternoon. All EOSfun from an 1dsmkIII with 35L.
If you want to see more of the winterstructures have a look at EOSfun winterscapes
