Thank you! It wasn't quite dark out and the moon was bright so I think it lit the sky weird. It was a quick edit too I will have to go back and take a look at it.
Or are you talking about the round lines? I saw those too and not really sure what they are it how they got there.

It is banding. Sometimes called posterization. In a nutshell, the dark gradient of the sky is captured with too little image data spread too far apart and it isn't blending smoothly. It is actually very common.
Can be fixed in Photoshop. Basic remedy is to add what everyone tries and remove: noise

That is certainly not the camera, its simply compressing for web viewing. The RAW wont show that bad banding, but a tiny 640 pixel compressed pic posted on the Internet will.
