Thanks guys.
The only thing Ive noticed is that they all look a bit dark on work monitor. At home they looked spot on - could just be a calibration thing.
Be curious if someone could let me know what "Snack Shack" looks like to them, its the most effected between work / home monitors!
I'll be investing in a monitor calibrator soon! (Blew it all on the 6D!)
Not 100% sure on my work one, unfortunately everything is locked down, I cant even open at the clock on my work machine! - All the settings are protected
I'll order a calibrator in the coming weeks and see if its changes my laptop - which is my
editing machine.
Thanks for the comments all I tried to fit too much in on the night, its not dark till 10pm at the moment, last train at 1am - So I only had a few hours to hop around the spots I wanted to go to. Intend to cover off a few city locations in the coming weeks, the Gherkin, Shard etc.
I've only had this camera for a few hours. I've found a lot to like so far.
The shutter button has a hair trigger. A light touch and it goes off. I hit it a few times just by brushing against it. I do a lot of hand held photography, or mostly hand held. I think the light and quiet shutter will help a lot! I like the 5 stop exposure compensation and 3 stop exposure scale on the top display and viewfinder. Locking mode dial.
I hike miles and miles with my DSLR. The size and weight decrease for me is a gift! The ultimate backcountry & travel camera, maybe? Simple button layout, nice design. I applaud anyone who designs for simplicity in this world that tends towards over complexity. So <high fives> to Canon for that.
As for the IQ? Need a few weeks for that. But shooting around the house and the images in this thread make me feel pretty confident.
