Wow,
Some awesome work here folks! Thanks for kicking the thread off Thang.
Sorry for not being around lately, but here is one of my favs from the year.
I hope to get out for more nature & wildlife and participate in the forum for 2013. Happy Holidays everyone!

Really enjoying this thread--some awesome work you all have been doing! This shot is probably not the best I took for this year, but it is one of my favorites. I had to take a very quick shot and leave--no time for setting anything up.

What an incredible set of images submitted to this board!
Of course we could have some sort of scoring/scaling but, for the most part these submissions are setting a standard for those of us who would like to do better.
I really appreciate the sharing of concepts and visions you share. The images really inspire me to improve on my meager attempts to capture a "WOW" image.
Thank you all for pushing the standards ever higher.
Still lots of glorious images being posted. Here is my second contribution. This snowshoe hare image is one of my faves of 2012, regardless of category. It is a bit of a tight shot, but I like the overall look, and it makes me smile because of how this silly rabbit behaved, and the look it gave me.
