My favorite car ever is the one that started this thread, the curvaceous AC Cobra. Looks lovely in any prime colour but this blue with white stripes is what suits it best imo. Red is awesome too but too much related with Italian cars which it certainly isn't. Anyways, here's my input; I shot this recently at a car show aimed to raise funds for charity. Pity it ended badly with a Porsche supercar going off track and into the public injuring 28 people including a six year old girl. Five where taken into intensive car playing a game with death. Hope this ends well....
One from deep down in the archive files. Laguna Seca 1996 CART race. Found the negative (Fuji Super G 100... I was doing this on a budget in 1996) and re-scanned it today. Almost 20 years since I last scanned this image. A forgotten moment from a race that became famous for Zanardi's pass on Herta in the Corkscrew. Forgotten is how Toyota was having major teething problems in their first season in CART. They'd eventually get it together and have top teams standing in line for their motors by 2000, but in 1996, things were still a bit unreliable with Dan Gurney's All American Racers.
One of the top 10 images I remember of those 7years I followed that circus around the world.
Took the Mini out last night to let it watch the sunset one more time before winter comes to these parts. Maybe 3 weeks, maybe 5 weeks, but winter hibernation is just around the corner...
