Thank you very much Wayne (yes, Machu Picchu among other places, but we will be in Peru for three weeks), twoeye, Tariq and tulaev!
Fascinating photo tulaev.
Lately I have been stuck in a "wide scenes" mode, so during a short walk today I decided to concentrate on details instead. All taken at f/2. RX1 continues to impress me.

A lot of people wonder why dynamic range counts. It's nice to take one image and cover a lot of what your eyes see. I love DR which is why I can't shoot with a Canon anymore..

I balance the dynamic range (very dark shadow area and light background in raw image) and resized 1050x700 pixels... I don't know it might be my pp as I don't see it on my laptop screen. I resized with sharpening again w/o changing the contrast, if it might change anything:

Love that last one rsolti! Great minimalism.
It would work even better for me if you cropped it a littlebit. Now there's too much space on the right side and it looks better if it's the same as the left side IMHO. Cleaner and more symmetrical. No offence, just an opinion.

Thanks all. Jochen, I was going to do the same exact thing when editing it...but found it too....perfect lets say when I cropped it and liked the offset a little better

Ok, there's ofcourse no right or wrong since we all have our preferences. Great shot nonetheless.
