My umbrella broke down, so I had to leave in a hurry.
I love umbrellas, at least when other people use them. I'm looking forward to more.

Wonderful work, Bob. They are closing down all those beautifull Post offices in the Netherlands, E-mail.
This is true historic heritage.
Here in Gothenburg our wonderful main Post Office (big separate building) has been sold and now it is an hotel.
I have a few images of the old interior on some old B&W roll of film somewhere. I wish I had taken a lot more images during the years from places like these.

Bop - lots of great stuff keep coming from you, the post office images stand out with symmetrical compositions of really monumental architecture.
tulaev - beautiful car shots.
Helena - I like the layers and reflections in your umbrella shot.
Jochenb - Great landscape with beautiful colors!
Some architecture: I visited Hamsunsenteret this weekend, a museum dedciated to the author Knut Hamsun by the american architect Steven Holl. My RX1 was paired with a 6D with the 2,8/21 ZE and 2/100 ZE. The RX1 was used mainly for interior details and subject isolation shots like below. OOF-rendering I think worked out quite well. I have posted some exteriors shot with the 6D in the Zeiss ZE/ZF/ZM thread.

That's indeed a very nice shot Helena. The reflections make it more interesting.
Thanks Twoeye, I like your last one best.
Street photography is really growing on me. The less I worry about people's reactions the more I'm starting to enjoy it. (not using a DSLR for it anymore also helps a lot)

Helena, please don't stop posting. I adore your photos and wonder how you do it. Either you are in the most photogenic place on earth or you have a very good eye. That last photo brings it down on the side of you rather than your environment.
That is a lovely photo of the bridge and the people, well captured.
I continue to have a great time with this camera, last weekend was a 50th birthday party. Lots of great photos taken indoor, no flash. This is such a subtle camera, nobody gets bothered by the act of photocapture.
Normally there would have been a fuss and people behaving in an artificial manner. I wasn't hiding the camera or that I was taking photos, yet it was so much better than getting out the SLR and a big lens. Plus the auto ISO setting gave excellent results.

Well, you guys did me in. Sold off my Fuji gear and am now joining the dark side. Got a RX1, EVF, external charger, and 4 batteries on the way to me.
Can't wait to get shooting!

Greetings folks . . . been busy for a bit but just back from a business trip and took an afternoon hiking in the adirondack region. These images are from the Buck Mountain trail area.
