Nice Øyvind
Really like the files from Rx1r and sonnar 35.. unfortunately it’s attached to a camera with bad AF and bad manual focus. But it still produces amazing images !

Have you tried focusing it using the macro ring? If not, you might be surprised by how well it can focus manually ... seriously!

To replace the lens wasnt cost effective as opposed to just purchasing a new one, so I decided learn from it. Derek and I were both curious about MF'ing it.
Did you look for a replacement lens on eBay? New Old Stock, refurbished, and used RX1 lenses turn up there fairly regularly, typically priced between $199 and $299. (In fact, I just now checked and there are three of them available, starting at $195.99 plus shipping.)
Although I can't provide a link, a few years ago, I purchased a .pdf copy of what was purported to be the factory service manual for the RX1. Although the reproduction quality is a bit sketchy, it's fairly detailed and for what I paid (IIRC, it was approx. $25), it was money well spent.

it seems the repair shop tried two of those replacement lenses, both of which had defects of their own. i'd love a copy of that factory service manual if you have a link btw.

Just a candid portrait I'd forgotten I took.... trying to develop with capture one which seems very limited compared to lightroom but i'm tired of paying for a sub i rarely use.
Have you ever documented here your sharpening technique? Is it multi step in photoshop ? I ask as I'm mod transition and trying other options. Capture one seems to sharpen a lot more by default than Lightroom. But not too much. Maybe you use that and some output sharpening ?
You're shots are very nice. Good scenery. Good time of day. Well processed.
