Images from a six day ski tour in the Berner Oberland in the Swiss Alps.
Our itinerary was Jungfraujoch- Konkordiahütte - Finsteraarhornhütte - Oberaarjochhütte - Finsteraarhornhütte - Hollandiahütte - Blatten. Most of the route and cabins at altitudes above 3000m. The planned summits along the route were cancelled due to difficult weather with pour visibility, snowfall and wind that lasted until the last night at Hollandiahütte when the sky cleared up.
The RX1 was brought along as supplement to an A7RII with 21 and 90mm primes, some more images will be posted in the Sony FE images thread.

I often stitch with my RX1, three vertical shots with about 25% overlap, or two horizontal shots with about the same overlap. Is there a scientific way to determine what my new effective focal length is, or is it more "this looks like 25mm" or something like that.

With 25% overlap vertical, you get about 60x36 frame. So diagonally you get about 1.6X more field of view, if RX1 is about 32mm, you actually get almost 20mm. But I'd say perspectivly it still looks different than native 20mm lens.

Thanks zhangyue - it's true it will look "flatter" than having used a ultra wide angle lens. Appreciate the math!

Super cool images everyone.
Here are a couple of stitched panoramas from the Big Island of Hawaii.
Each about 10,000 pixels wide.
First in b&w due to cloud cover.
Second in color using a Fuji film preset.

As evidenced by many other pictures in this thread, the RX1RM2 is an excellent camera for monochrome, partially due to its dynamic range. This image exhausts the 14bit resolution on both ends (I should have blown out the sky more to get even more details into the shade).

In contrast to the usual sodden imagery of Songkhran - Thai New year - a few basic shots of how it was, and sometimes still is, among rural folk - RX1.
Monk's - Blessing Chants.
Songkhran - Watering Buddha.
Monks awaiting a ritual hand washing - all part of the job.
