It's been awhile since I've posted on the RX1 photos...
I just got the RX1Rii...nothing short of amazing!! I've had the Sony RX1 and RX1R since the beginning. I sold all the RX1's and bought the A7Rii. Been using the A7Rii for about 6 months with nothing but great things to say.
The A7Rii is a great camera in itself but it is nothing like the RX1Rii. I had everything from the Loxia 50mm to the Batis 25mm. All the lens were great but something about the output of the RX1Rii that just blows me away - still keeping the A7Rii but thought I'm sure it will be a closet queen for a long time (maybe it will be my zoom camera with the new 70-300mm).

In the neighbourhood tonight we had an outdoor film screening.

And at a small local Chinese temple, some opera* - which drew record crowds.

*An annual event paid for by a local Chinese-Thai family. Never drawing large crowds it seems they are a gift to the neighbourhood and a duty for the sponsors. The troupes are truly dedicated - completing acts despite a total lack of an audience. Well, they are being paid.

Long time lurker here. Just got an RX1 with viewfinder and playing around with it. I really like the rendering of this lens in close to mid distance areas.

I rather not say how much I paid It was a good deal, a bit cheaper than what they are going for these days. I would say I got the EVF for free in this deal.
Here are two (very normal) shots I just took a few minutes ago. It is a grey day in Stockholm, it is cold and it was already getting dark.

In February paid $1200 on eBay for a mint RX1R, a no-brand hood plus EVF plus batteries. That's about the market price - check the listings and watch a few auctions before you buy..
