Sebboh, the first image is to my taste. Really! Off topic: I stitch from time to time, usually using PTGui. It works fine in general but 'm not happy with the auto-stitching for parts of the image containing no sharp details (blurred background, the sky etc). Do you know of any software doing that better?
thanks jonas. i mostly use PS which is better with oof bits than PTGui in my experience but ridiculously memory intensive if you have more than 8 or so shots to stitch (and still not particularly good for oof elements). microsoft ICE actually seems to perform pretty well, but requires using windows...
here are a couple more from the same location, this time in color:

Hi, and thank you!
PS works reasonably well, I agree. ICE... last time I checked it (v 1.4 it turned out) I simply disliked it for several reasons. Now I downloaded the current 64-bit version (2.0.3) and they certainly have worked on this software. I have tried a couple of images and the results have been good. Yup, I'm a lucky windows user.
This far no problems with ICE (disregarding the fact my firewall has to work stopping it from not asked for communication activities).

.
Try Autopano Pro - it's a revelation, even compared to Photoshop (at times).
