Nice to see that this thread is alive and well.
Like I mentioned long ago my RX1 had problems with the aperture ring. Finally I sent it to the repair shop a couple of weeks ago and have gotten it back already. They replaced the whole lens assembly and also the LCD screen (it had lost much of its coating) and warranty covered it all even though I have owned it for 2.5 years. Impressive service.
I took it out for a long walk in town, hoping that I'd enjoy it more now when it works as intended, but I'm still very undecided. I'll give it a little more time and we'll see.

Yes, I still have Ricoh GR (and agree, what a great little camera!). Currently I mostly use it for family photos and as back-up, but I have no intention to sell it.
