A few vacation snapshots from Florida with my new-to-me RX1r. Still learning the camera, but suitably impressed so far. Absolutely zero issues with AF speed or accuracy to this point. Sharpness, "micro-contrast" (heh heh), and dynamic range is brilliant, as expected.

may I ask what rating level you purchased the RX1 used?
No, you may not......................
Just kidding. I dont remember what the exact letter rating was but it was the "shows little to no signs of use except under extreme scrutinty" or whatever.

Noticed you sold your 35 1.4 Voigtlander on eBay, what did you replace it all with?
1.2, haven't sold it yet - but i am interested in the new 35mm 1.4 Zeiss
- actually looking at some old photos today, I do miss my RX1R a bit - I Guess i just haven't had the same 'relationship' with my A7S yet - need to make some memories

ah, I'm watching it
Thoughts on the 1.2?
I did a lot of research before I bought it and was really pleased with the purchase, damn good lens I think.
I just decided that I might need appreciate AF from the Zeiss if I were to use the A7 bodies at weddings. I also love the Zeiss Distagon 35mm 1.4 on my Canon, except for the manual focus part... which isn't a problem with the A7's
I will have to remove it from ebay in the morning, as I'm off on holiday for a week in the afternoon - so last chance to post it. Will reinstate it when I get back.
