With a new little one around, I haven't had much chance to get out and do any landscapes. But here's a shot of the new munchkin in her Christmas outfit.

Thanks for the earlier comments Wayne and Charles.
Wayne, some really nice shots past few pages! If you are looking to complement the RX1 and EVF with a nice bag, check out the Fogg Flute pouches. Top notch quality and hand made.
Charles, nice ISO6400 Christmas eve shots!
Phil, congrats on your RX1. Couldn't resist huh? I'm on the same boat
Joanlvh, nice shots.
Martin, the gas station shot is superb!
vovkinson, nice shot!
itai195, cute shot of your girl.

Hey guys and gals, cool off, its only a camera. Price is what you pay, value is what you get right? Have some coffee instead?

Needed to correct distortion on some of them, noticed LR4 doesn't have update for Sony RX-1 35 lens, am I missing something? Or is there a in camera setting?
The high contrast B and W jpeg setting is awesome, as well as the Rich Tone Mono! I think I am in love, it's so easy to carry around and gets the least attention of all the cameras I have ever used out here (which is a good thing)

Steve and Joe, thank you very much
Joe, very nice set!
Vlad, nice series! Love the B&W shots.
Phil, love the richness in the shots!
The RX 1 is a great camera. There has been many occasions in the past where I cannot get someone to take a shot of myself and my partner, and be of similar IQ to the M9, unless someone knows how to shoot and focus with a RF.
Here is a shot from the other evening full moon in the backdrop, with very little street lighting. Marisa and myself were happy to have a shot of both of us, which can be difficult with a lot of gear. 6400 ISO f/2.0

Its great to see you Charles. Happy new Year...and yes, with the M9 its hard to be in the picture unless someone else knows how to handle a RF. Its always a pain to give a short lecture when having someone else handle the M9 before they take your picture. The RX100 which i have, seem to go close but not quite, and the RX1 will surely be the only alternative at the moment. I will buy mine when i get to the US this mid-January
Keep on posting everyone...May this New year fill this thread with great photos from this camera

The RX1 corrects distortion automatically for JPGs (menu setting 3.4 - Lens Comp.: Distortion). LR4.3 has a built-in correction profile that you can apply to the RAW files with ease.
