You sure get better airplane windows that I do.
Mine always look like someone tried to clean with using 2 rocks and a sheet of sandpaper. Just so scratched up and hazy that no amount of contrast bump can save it.

What area/town is that Derek?
Looks like maybe Colorado river?
yup, the view is looking south at the Colorado river. to the left is part of Lake Powell, the town is Page (with the Navajo reservation and generating station just to left of it), to the upper left is Antelope Canyon, to the upper right the Colorado river flows into Marble Canyon on it's way to the Grand Canyon, and to the far right is Vermillion Cliffs National Monument.

Cool, Thanks! I see Horshoe Bend too I think south of town. Was there once in 2005. Need to go back again with my Zeiss lenses!

After have tried various cameras something is now clear:
What I really, really want is something like RX1, but with a built in EVF and a 28mm lens! That could handle 90% of my shooting.

I think you might want to try an A7s with the silent shutter and your Contax 28. That is getting really close to what you describe.

A7s is tempting indeed and I'll probably get one eventually, but it currently costs four times as much as I paid for my A7 (I got a crazy good deal, maybe a mistake from the shop, I don't know). Another thing that is holding me back is that I'm not sure about the C/Y 28. For some things I love it, but in some situations (especially in the forest) its field curvature really messes things up. Someone said that that may be less problematic on A7s though. That would be great if true.

I'm hoping Sony announces some sort of RX1 replacement this month so that the used prices on the Rx1 drop some more. Already tempting at around 1.5k used but still a little out of my reach. Hopefully it falls so I can sell my FE 35 to fund this wonderful camera.

Nice shots Brody....sure you really want to give that beauty up ?
Lol guess. No I decided I can't let this thing go. Spent the day with it and could barely put it down lol. I don't think I'll be giving up my RX1 until Sony drops a RX2. I've been shoot with a blank screen except the center focus point and it sort of reminds me of using my old 5D with the 35L. Back when things were simple lol.
